and memorials, cash and other outright gifts, and pledges.
Naming Grant
A Naming Grant is an excellent way to remember and honor a loved one who has passed away, to recognize a special person, or to let your own name be a permanent fixture at Wise Regional Health System. You can have rooms, departments, or even the hospital
building named after the person, family, or company you purchase the naming grant for if you donate the set amount for that specific area. Naming grants also make great gifts that will never be forgotten. With a naming grant you or your loved ones will be forever honored and remembered.

Tribute and Memorial Gifts
A Tribute or Memorial gift is a generous and thoughtful way of honoring
the memory and accomplishments of a loved one or recognizing and commemorating
a special person or occasion. These tributes and memorials not only recognize
loved ones, but they also provide for the community by ensuring the continuation
of quality health care services at Wise Regional Health System. Gifts
of all sizes are welcome.
When you make a tribute or memorial gift to the Wise Regional Health
Foundation, we will promptly notify the honoree or next of kin. Unless
requested, the notification will not include the amount of the gift. To
make a tribute or memorial gift, send your gift with a note specifying
the honoree's name, the address of the honoree or next of kin. Please
indicate if you want the gift to go toward a specific purpose.
Cash and Other Outright Gifts
Gifts of cash, checks, and credit card payments are welcome in all sizes
and are tax deductible. Donors who make an outright gift of an appreciated
asset, such as real estate or securities, are able to avoid the capital
gains tax that the donor would pay if the asset were sold. Also, the donor
can receive a charitable deduction for the fair market value of the asset
if the donor has owned it for more than one year.
Pledges
Pledges are a form of cash donation that may be paid over several years.
You decide how much you want to donate and for how many years. For instance,
you may choose to make a gift $15,000 to the Wise Regional Health Foundation
by paying $3,000 a year for five years. You will be asked to complete
a gift agreement stating the form, schedule, and purpose of your gift.
